BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Local market regulators in North China's Shanxi province have been authorized by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) to examine and approve the registrations submitted by foreign-funded firms within the province, reported the local newspaper, Shanxi Daily, on Monday.
According to the report, 11 cities and other demonstration zones in the province will start to handle the registrations of foreign-funded enterprises by setting up special service windows at local bureaus of administration services as from April 1.
As a result, foreign enterprises and its branches based in the province could finish their registations in local areas.
This will make it convenient for foreign investors to run businesses in Shanxi as a move to improve the business environment of the province.
