ROME, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- The Turin Automotive Design Award (TADA) was unveiled on Friday in the northern Italian city of Turin, during the 2025 Turin Auto Show. China's Changan Automobile Group won two honors, with its Deepal S05 model taking the Best Human-Centric Intelligent Integration award and Deepal S07 model receiving the Best Exterior Design award.
Both award-winning models were developed at Changan's Design Center in Turin. Established in 2003, the center has become a key part of Changan's global design network and now is home to more than 300 designers from 31 countries.
During the award ceremony, Changan representatives noted that Turin is a fertile ground for design inspiration and creativity, and that receiving these honors underscores Changan's global vision and the fusion of Chinese and Italian design expertise.
Launched by the Auto Show's organizers, TADA is the first professional automotive design award in Europe officially supporting cooperation between Chinese and European auto industries. With the theme "Piedmont Meets China", the inaugural award recognizes innovative achievements of Chinese models active in the European market.
The Changan × TADA China-Europe Automotive Industry Cooperation Forum was also held the same day, focusing on how Chinese automotive brands can work with local European resources to advance a new stage of "glocalization".
