BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese baijiu maker Wuliangye Group and the Chinese Visa Application Service Center launched a cooperation initiative on July 5 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The partnership will help establish Wuliangye brand cultural experience spaces at key visa centers globally, exploring an innovative model combining Chinese visa services and baijiu culture to forge a new path for the international presence of Chinese national brands.

Wuliangye will fully leverage the advantages of visa centers such as precise audience targeting and high website click-through rates to continuously enhance overseas consumers' cultural recognition of Chinese baijiu.

This initiative aims to ensure that every foreign visitor, at their first stop in China, experiences the philosophical wisdom of "harmony between man and nature" and the cultural connotation of "beauty in harmony" of Chinese baijiu.

At the launch ceremony, Wuliangye showcased its international activities and classic products through a "Harmony Moments" photo display.

Zeng Congqin, chairman of Wuliangye Group, stated that the company aims to leverage baijiu as a medium to help international visitors appreciate Chinese wisdom, ecological beauty, and opening-up, jointly telling China's story well.

Wu Pengfei, deputy consul general of Consulate-General of China in Frankfurt, affirmed the collaboration's value, noting visa centers serve as important windows for international friends to learn about China, while Wuliangye is a premium carrier of Chinese culture. Their cooperation will provide richer cultural experiences.

Wang Dong, general manager of Beijing Qiandaifu Information Technology Co., Ltd. which is responsible for visa center operations, described the cooperation as a concrete practice of expanding opening-up and fostering people-to-people exchanges, which will cultivate a warmer service experience with cultural resonance.

Industry observers noted this initiative harmonizes cultural heritage with commercial development. It injects new vitality into Wuliangye's international promotion and offers a pioneering model for the global expansion of China's baijiu industry.

Wuliangye has continuously deepened its international strategy in recent years, expanding its global presence through appearing at major international summits and pursuing cross-border collaborations.
