BEIJING, July 25 (Xinhua) -- With excellent quality and innovative technologies, products made by Chinese enterprises will spice up the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics (Paris 2024), Securities Daily reported on Thursday.
According to the Paris 2024 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, 80 percent of the mascots are made by Chinese manufacturers. Over 80 percent of the equipment, gears, and souvenirs for the Paris 2024 are also produced in China.
Products from many Chinese A-share listed companies will be present during the grand global sports event.
For example, Beijing Yuanlong Yato Culture Dissemination Co., Ltd. (002878.SZ) said it is designing and producing Olympics-themed gifts for some sponsors and top partners of the Paris Olympics.
The brands affiliated to Zhejiang Haers Vacuum Containers Co., Ltd. (002615.SZ) will provide customized water pots for athletes, media, and others participating in the Paris Olympics, according to the company.
Shenzhen Absen Optoelectronic Co., Ltd. (300389.SZ) will provide more than 50 high-quality LED screens for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, as well as the major venues, and areas for celebration activities.
To create an immersive viewing experience for on-site spectators, Unilumin Group Co., Ltd. (Unilumin, 300232.SZ) will provide LED screens totaling over 2,600 square meters for the Stade de France, or Olympic Stadium during Paris 2024, Parc des Princes football stadium, and three other venues, as well as the fan zone on the banks of the Seine River where the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics will take place.
The presence of made-in-China products in the Paris Olympics speaks to the outstanding strength of China's manufacturing sector and the rapid development of its innovative technologies. It also reflects the significantly enhanced competitiveness and influence of Chinese enterprises on the international stage, according to Zhan Junhao, founder of Fujian Huace brand positioning consulting company.
