MILAN, Feb. 16 (Class Editori) -- According to AEFI, in the blackest year for the Italian trade fair sector that has seen an 80% drop in businesses, Eurostands, a Brianza-based company active in stand design and fitting, with a 15-million-euro turnover in 2019, closed 2020 with a growth in EBITDA on orders by over 2% and now heads East.
The company inaugurated its new representative offices in Dubai and became part of the "Made in Italy in the Gulf Countries" project promoted by the Italian Industry & Commerce Office in the United Arab Emirates.
"2020 has been a particularly demanding year, full of challenges that we have been able to promptly face thanks to the professionalism and perseverance of my entire team," Maurizio Cozzani, CEO of Eurostands, explains. "We responded to the first outbreak of the pandemic by reconverting the company and launching the Covistop line to make our country safe and we are dealing with the second wave by focusing on Asian markets, where activities have already resumed, by exporting the know-how of our craftsmen, the pride of Made-in-Italy around the world. Sound foundations for a promising future based on the enhancement of the company's human capital".
The arrival in the Emirates is part of an internationalization process that began with the opening of new offices, first in Hong Kong in 2007, then in Shanghai in 2009 and in London in 2016. A virtuous triangle connecting the world's major economic powers. Recently awarded as a "value creator" company at the China Awards, Eurostands recognizes that collaboration between Italy and China is even more valuable after the COVID-19 pandemic, with China confirming itself as a strategic country where to strengthen the company's presence.
"I dedicate the China Awards to the women and men of Cortina, to the organizers of the Alpine World Ski Championships who have believed in us and allowed us to be part of this important event, a symbol of Italy's relaunch," Maurizio Cozzani continues. "Asia remains our main reference market and we are working on an ambitious development plan that, by 2023, aims to cover an area that goes from the Chinese market of Hong Kong, to Macao, to nearby Singapore, up to the Persian Gulf with Dubai. I have great expectations for the future: Expo 2020 Dubai, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics represent fertile grounds that we are cultivating with commitment and prowess".
With its 105 employees, 40,000-square-meter production site, capability to carry out the entire production process in-house, from design to engineering, machinery and workers to process wood, iron and plastic, and its fleet of 60 vehicles, Eurostands represents a true design headquarters from which projects and ideas are directed towards countries around the world.
