BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Local authorities in northeast China's Liaoning Province announced to launch 20 kinds of consumption activities, promoting local consumption and digging its consumption potential, reported Liaoning Daily Tuesday.
The consumption activities mainly target at stimulating automobile consumption, increasing the popularity of live streaming e-commerce in Liaoning, and expanding consumer vouchers' scope.
Specifically, Liaoning will organize major business enterprises and e-commerce platforms to jointly hold on-line and off-line promotion activities, which will last for one month from September 9 till October 9.
The live-streaming e-commerce shopping spree is expected to be held in Liaoning from October 10 to 17, gathering e-commerce giants such as Alibaba, JD.com and Pinduoduo.
The province encourages all cities to launch thematic tourism activities, discount tickets at scenic spots, and art performances during off-peak periods.
In addition, the province will continue to promote the use of consumer coupons by extending the using scope.
