InfoQuest, (April 05, 2019) -- Ms. Chiraphon Khaoasawat, CEO and president of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (PTTOR), revealed that during the eight days of Songkran Festival (April 10-17, 2019), even if world oil prices may rise, the 1,700-plus gas stations in Thailand will not raise price. That is a new year gift for Thai people, aiming to make it more convenient for tourists and people returning homes to make a journey. And if world oil prices drop, Thailand will further lower its oil prices.
All oil depots in Thailand are asked to ensure adequate oil storage, and offer services during the festival. Meanwhile, with anticipated more oil consumption than usual, more vehicles will be deployed to transport oil, to ensure that each PPT gas station has enough oil storage to meet people's fuel needs.
