BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) -- The monograph titled Research on the High-quality Development of Energy - Trends and Changes in Provincial-level Regions, authored by the Economic and Technical Research Institute of State Grid Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd., has been honored with the outstanding academic publication award by the Energy Development & Power Generation Committee of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES).
This award represents high recognition of the monograph's forward-looking and systematic research value in advancing energy transition and high-quality development. It further underscores State Grid Fujian Electric Power's profound expertise and significant academic influence in this critical field.
Through the examination of 52 differentiated cases across 21 provinces, the monograph synthesizes typical localized approaches to energy development, presenting a rich and multi-dimensional view of pathways towards high-quality energy development nationwide.
The publication provides valuable technical references for promoting the green, low-carbon transition of the energy sector and accelerating the construction of new energy systems, both within Fujian Province and across China. Furthermore, it offers practical experience to support the high-quality development of the energy and power industry and to contribute to the high-quality development of local economies and societies.
As a key research achievement of State Grid Fujian Electric Power in serving the energy sector, the monograph delivers multi-dimensional practical value.
First of all, it offers robust technical references and practical support for advancing China's green, low-carbon energy transition and building new energy systems, contributing "Fujian wisdom" to the nation's sustainable energy development.
Secondly, by deeply analyzing critical issues in energy development, it provides valuable decision-making references for local governments to formulate low-carbon transition policies and implement the "dual carbon" goals.
Thirdly, the research provides energy enterprises with insights into regional development patterns, helping them to formulate targeted investment strategies and business plans to better participate in energy market construction.
