BEIJING -- Tianjin Port (Group) CO. (600717.SH) signed an agreement with China's largest coal producer Shenhua Group to promote the construction of logistic channels in west China.
According to the agreement, Shenhua Group will actively carry out the country's logistic strategy and share its own railway resource with Tianjin Port's relevant customers in a bid to improve the transport capacity of Tianjin Port.
Taking advantage of Tianjin Port's logistic network and Shenhua Group's railway transportation, Tianjin Port and Shenhua Group will join hands to build a logistic park or land port so as to form a new rail-harbor cooperation pattern.
Based on Shenhua Group's transportation corridor, Tianjin Port will rebuild its bulk cargo logistic park and develop its unloading and storage business.
Besides, the two sides will further strengthen their cooperation and accelerate the synergetic development of Tianjin-Hebei port.
