MILAN, Sep 29 (Class Editori) — D'Amico International Shipping, a leading international shipping company specializing in the tanker market, announced that its operating subsidiary D'Amico Tankers has signed Credit Agricol to a new 54.2-million-dollar 5-year financing agreement.
This new credit line, according to a statement, will work for the refinancing of loans relative to the following five vessels: MT Cielo di Capri, a handysize vessel of gross capacity of 39.043 tons built in 2016 at Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyeard Co. Ltd., in Vietnam, whose current loan should expire in March 2023.
Moreover, four so-called ‘MR’ of gross capacity of 47.200 tons built between 2010 and 2011 at Hyundai-Mipo in South Korea, which was previously owned by Glenda International Shipping D.a.C.
To this day, DIS fleet includes 36 double-hulled tankers (MR, Handysize and LR1, including 19 owned, 9 chartered and 8 bareboat chartered vessels), with an average age relative to owned and bareboat chartered vessels of 7.5 years.
