InfoQuest (April 19, 2022) - Mr. Thosapol Thangsubutr, Director-General of Thailand's Department of Business Development (DBD) announced, DBD has held a business fair, which was attended by about 20 large retailers including TESCO Lotus, MAKRO, CP All, The Mall Group, Central Food Retail, Big C Supercenter, and King Power Duty Free as well as 56 local communities.
The fair aims to expand the sales channels of local products to include overseas markets via online channels. Local communities and retailers could attend the business matching activities face to face or online. A total of 56 entrepreneurs participated in the business negotiations.
It's reported that the most notable products include foods, beverages, health care products, and environment-friendly products. This business fair has brought orders of more than 4 million baht. DBD will continue to organize such activities. It's expected that it will secure orders of over 50 million baht by the end of this year.
