MILAN, Oct. 25 (Class Editori) -- The turnover of the Carpi-based Esautomotion Group, a leading company in mechatronics in Italy, sharply grew thanks to sales in China and Turkey. As of September 30, this year, revenues rose to 20 million euros, up 60.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Growth, which had already begun in the second part of 2020, continued in a sustained manner in 2021 despite some difficulties in the supply of components, especially semiconductors, which is affecting the sector. Therefore, the result implies an even higher growth potential considering the significant value of incoming orders that allow to forecast record results for 2021 and continued expansion in 2022.
"The continuity of the strong order inflow added to the number of delayed works makes us confident about 2021 in terms of revenues and profitability and we also have excellent prospects for 2022," as explained by Gianni Senzolo, CEO and co-founder of Esautomotion together with President Franco Fontana, who mainly deals with commercial aspects.
Business increased by 67% in China and by 100% in Turkey, the two most important markets for the Group's exports, which also performed well in Italy (+63%) and in Spain and Portugal (+85%).
However, China remains the company's main point of reference thanks to the good relations established with CRRC Corporation Limited, the world's largest rolling stock manufacturer, which had already tested Esautomotion's 5-axis CNC system (high-precision mechatronic components for industrial machines) and laser 5AH cutting head, then expressing interest in adopting the Carpi-based enterprise's products on all its laser cutting machines.
Golden Arrow Water Jet Equipment Manufacturing is another important client that decided to acquire the entire kinematic chain for waterjet machines which will be used to produce Tesla parts.
Moreover, Yawei Wuxi, the major Chinese producer of press brakers and already important costumer of the Italian Group, chose CNC VIS-640 Esautomotion to equip their waterjet machines in the Chinese BMW plant.
