InfoQuest (July 2, 2021) -- According to Mr. Veerit Amrapal, director of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), IEAT stressed the importance of stable regional power supply in driving industrial development and investment in industrial estates.

Meanwhile, IEAT also discussed with Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand) Limited (TTM) primarily selling gas separation plant and natural gas pipelines and Global Power Synergy Plc (GPSC) engaged in power in Malaysia-Joint Development Area (JDA) to strengthen stable power supply in industrial estates.

"IEAT, TTM and GPSC should explore the feasibility of making reliable power and natural gas accessible to Southern Industrial Estate Songkhla Provincial and Rubber City, and signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU)", said Mr. Veerit Amrapal.

Excavators, petroleum exploration instrument maintenance and rubber processing are widely distributed in the Southern Industrial Estate Songkhla Provincial and Rubber. The successful signature of the MOU will facilitate development of power supply and enhance investor confidence.

TTM and GPSC are working to sign a MOU to jointly study the possibility of developing power projects in southern Thailand.
