InfoQuest (June 22, 2021) -- Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister of Industry, has ordered the Department of Industrial Works to complete assessment of Thai Stop COVID Plus (Good factory Practice) and Thai Save Thai before the end of June.
These two events launched on Line aim to help business owners and employees better combat the COVID-19 pandemic and prevent further spread.
The Department, in cooperation with the Bangkok Municipal Government, shortlisted 278 candidate factories dedicated to food, food processing and garment manufacturing in Bangkok with over 200 employees, said Mr. Prakob Wivitjinda, Director of the Department.
After June 15, the Department, Bangkok Municipal Government and relevant departments will visit thefirst batch of 40 selected factories, with 12 engaged in the food and food processing, and 28 owning 1,000 employees.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Health has introducedthe Business Continuity Plan (BCP)to facilitate business operation amid COVID-19 pandemic. The Plan is detailed as follows: 1. Establish a BCP team and assign at least one staff as the BCP center. 2. List five emergency situations and the impact on business operation. 3. Set up a long-term emergency management mechanism. 4. Conduct crisis drills.
