InfoQuest (April 26, 2019) -- Mr. Sutee Watsuwanwat, director of Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Airport Group Corporation of Thailand (AOT), reveals that, during the Water-Sprinkling Festival holiday period from April 9 to 18, 2019, the total number of visitors to Suvarnabhumi Airport reached at 1,874,866 (an average of 187,487 person-times per day), an increase of 7.18 percent compared to the same period of 2018. Specifically, it includes 1,533,096 international passengers and 341,770 domestic passengers.
During the Water-Sprinkling Festival, Suvarnabhumi Airport saw the largest number of visitors on April 12, 2019, which reached as high as 199,456.
Regarding the flight schedule, the total number of flights was 10,306 (an average of 1,031 flights per day), an increase of 9.73 percent compared to the same period last year. Specifically, it includes 7,924 international flights and 2,382 domestic flights.
