Value of food exports up 0.47 percent in first quarter of 2019: Federation of Thai Industries

Abstract : The value of Thailand's food exports in the first quarter this year was 275.119 billion baht, up 0.47 percent annually in baht terms, or 8.708 billion US dollars, up 0.92 percent annually in US dollar terms, up 0.92 percent annually.

InfoQuest, (April 22, 2019) -- The value of Thailand's food exports in the first quarter this year was 275.119 billion baht, up 0.47 percent annually in baht terms, or 8.708 billion US dollars, up 0.92 percent annually in US dollar terms, according to Wisit Limluecha, chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).

Among the total food exports, agricultural products exports accounted for 50.1 percent, with a value of 137.818 billion baht, up 1 percent from the same period in 2018, while agricultural industrial products took 49.9 percent, with a value of 137.301 billion baht, down 0.04 percent from the same period in 2018.
