The HCLC holding company's new project to strengthen its relations and creative exchanges with Italy. The one-month training internship at Designer's Lab – the new institution aimed at promoting cooperation between emerging fashion talents – is ready to take off.
MILAN, Feb. 19 (Class Editori) – The liaison between Italy and China continues to give new opportunities back – as for Fashion Haining's latest project, meant to promote emerging talents in the sector, and due for launch during the company's next event. The HCLC holding – specialized in services for the leather and the fur industries, and property of Yueming Zhang – will rise to the occasion during the release of its new Zlfzss clothing line on the catwalk, next February 21st. The contest presents some of Italy's most promising talents in fashion with the chance to take part in a one-month training interniship at the Designer's Lab – Haining's brand-new institution for cooperation and exchange promotion, aimed at engaging all Italian and foreign emerging fashion designers.
By the end of March, The Lab's internal commission will select the two most capable contestants among five, all proposed by as many of the most prominent fashion schools in Italy. The project, coming to its second edition, further highlights the commitment of both HCLC and the Haining district to promote young emerging talents in the sector, as well as to strengthen Italy-China relationships and their creative exchanges.
Meanwhile the company will be launching its new Zflzss line during Milan's next fashion week, starting this February 21st with the women's fashion event at its new venue, the National Science and Technology Museum.
HCLC, led by Yueming Zhang, is putting forward an important investment plan to encourage and support the district's companies in the expansion of their production range, as well as in the innovation of their style and technologies – aiming at collaborating with international designers. The development plan will also interest distribution. At the moment, the HCLC retail network generates 30% of total retail sales – a business worth over 3 billion dollars a year, and reaching a 14-million range of consumers. The Haining Designer's Lab, a recent novelty, was founded by an Italian company with the support of HCLC. The project promotes the collaboration between Italian and foreign stylists, and Chinese companies, aiming at product promotion in several commercial areas – especially supporting the younger designers.
