BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- The French Senate issued on Tuesday an assessment report on China’s Belt and Road Initiative, calling on the country to play an active role in the construction of the Belt and Road.
The report suggested that France should promote the development of France-China bilateral relations and formally take part in the construction of the Belt and Road. At the same time, the country should play an important role in promoting the development of relations between Europe and China.
The report also said that French companies and local governments should actively participate in the cooperation with China within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
