BEIJING -- JD, one of the leading e-commerce operators in China, is to cooperate with the Chinese Institute of Electronics with a strategic agreement signed on May 28, according to people.com.cn.
According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out research and hold exchange seminars to strengthen cooperation in the evaluation and transformation of scientific and technological achievements; they will also focus on finding and training talented workers, while pooling expertise.
The agreement also allows for multi-dimensional cooperation in areas including the digital economy, artificial intelligence, big data, intelligent robots, and smart supply chains.
The two sides will rely on their own advantages to actively integrate industries, enterprises, universities, and scientific research to work together to promote high-quality development and innovation.
Qu Yuechuan, deputy president of JD Group, expressed his gratitude for the long-term support of the the Chinese Institute of Electronics and said that JD will continue to contribute to industrial development. (Source: China Daily)
