BEIJING, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese satellite positioning service company Qianxun Spatial Intelligence Co. (Qianxun SI) announced Wednesday that it had reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Swiss company, u-blox, to provide centimeter level precision positioning based on u-blox’s F9 technical platform.
The cooperation would give better positioning solutions for industrial and automotive market, Qianxun Si said in a post on its website, noting that the two parties plan to expand the cooperation to cover more consumer-end products to pave way for wider positioning applications in areas such as internet of things（IoT）and car networking.
The two companies could advance faster and wider application of precision positioning technology in industrial and automotive markets which would become a driving force for IoT development, said Qianxun SI Chief Executive Chen Jinpei (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
