China imported 1,775.4 tons of liqueurs and cordials from January to March 2018, an increase of 11.5 percent year on year. The imports amounted to 6.6 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 18.7 percent year on year. The average price was 3,698.5 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 6.4 percent year on year.
In March alone, China imported 710.1 tons of liqueurs and cordials, an increase of 124.5 percent month on month. The imports amounted to 2.96 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 136.2 percent month on month. The average price was 4,171.7 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 5.2 percent month on month. Compared with March 2017, there was a decrease of 14.8 percent in quantity, an increase of 22.5 percent in value, and an increase of 43.8 percent in average price.
In terms of import origin by continents, Asia exported 534.4 tons of liqueurs and cordials from January to March 2018, a decrease of 15.3 percent year on year, or 1.2 million U.S. dollars, a decrease of 2.2 percent year on year, at an average price of 2,260.5 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 15.5 percent year on year; Africa exported 2.1 tons, an increase of 154.0 percent, or 13,945 U.S. dollars, an increase of 451.4 percent, at an average price of 6,519.4 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 117.1 percent; Europe exported 1,033.0 tons, an increase of 15.2 percent, or 4.6 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 23.8 percent, at an average price of 4,479.9 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 7.5 percent; South America exported 93.5 tons, an increase of 125.9 percent, or 237,526 U.S. dollars, an increase of 32.8 percent, at an average price of 2,541.2 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 41.2 percent; North America exported 109.3 tons, an increase of 410.5 percent, or 444,497 U.S. dollars, an increase of 23.3 percent , at an average price of 4,067.1 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 75.9 percent; Oceania exported 3.1 tons, an increase of 471.1 percent, or 34,748 U.S. dollars, an increase of 105.6 percent, at an average price of 11,183.8 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 64.0 percent.
In March alone, Asia exported 183.2 tons of liqueurs and cordials, a decrease of 57.4 percent year on year, or 525,657 U.S. dollars, a decrease of 25.8 percent year on year, at an average price of 2,869.3 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 74.0 percent year on year; Europe exported 416.3 tons, an increase of 12.0 percent, or 2.1 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 38.1 percent, at an average price of 5,015.1 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 23.3 percent; South America exported 58.8 tons, an increase of 195.6 percent, or 133,456 U.S. dollars, an increase of 88.2 percent, at an average price of 2,271.5 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 36.3 percent; North America exported 51.1 tons, an increase of 322.6 percent, or 203,260 U.S. dollars, an increase of 62.0 percent, at an average price of 3,977.5 U.S. dollars per ton, a decrease of 61.7 percent; Oceania exported 730 kilograms, an increase of 457.3 percent, or 12,083 U.S. dollars, an increase of 718.6 percent, at an average price of 16,552.1 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 46.9 percent.
Among all the countries and regions that exported liqueurs and cordials to China from January to March 2018, in terms of value, Germany ranked first with 1.9 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 354.4 percent year on year; France ranked second with 1.15 million U.S. dollars, down 13.8 percent; Japan ranked third with 641,848 U.S. dollars, up 21.1 percent.
In March alone, Germany ranked first with 975,968 U.S. dollars, an increase of 521.6 percent year on year; Netherlands ranked second with 484,067 U.S. dollars, up 33.6 percent; France ranked third with 397,869 U.S. dollars, up 9.1 percent.
