BEIJING, May 3 (Xinhua) -- East China’s Jiangxi province has recently unveiled the key points for participating in the Belt and Road construction in 2018.
This year, it will strengthen the interconnection, deepen foreign exchanges, focus on expanding economic and trade investment, and promote the international capacity cooperation.
The province will accelerate the construction of infrastructure such as railways and aviation and fully establish an open transportation network.
Meanwhile, Jiangxi will improve the logistics system construction and promote the construction of China-Europe rail routes, and strive to build a modern logistics system that seamlessly connects aviation and land transport.
It will deepen foreign cooperation in aviation and automobile manufacturing, photovoltaic new energy, light industrial machinery, non-ferrous metals, bio-pharmaceuticals, and other industries.
In addition, Jiangxi will accelerate the outbound acquisitions and investment, support enterprises in the province through the greenfield investment, equity mergers and acquisitions (M&As), etc., to quickly expand overseas markets, and encourage them to buy brands of European and American companies, and introduce advanced technologies and business management experience.
