BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- China exported 107,945.8 tonnes of alcoholic drink from January to March, 2018, a decrease of 11.4 percent year on year, according to a monthly report jointly released by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's alcoholic drink exports amounted to 284.433 million U.S. dollars during the period, down 5.6 percent on year.
In March alone, China exported 38,710.6 tonnes of alcoholic drink, down 8.4 percent year on year.
From January to March, 2018, among all the countries and regions that import alcoholic drink from China,Hong Kong ranked the first by 167.045 million U.S. dollar value of alcoholic drink, up 3.8 percent year on year followed by Korea and Taiwan, with value of 13.212 million U.S. dollars and 10.302 million U.S. dollars.
In March, 2018, Hong Kong ranked first with a value of 56.987 million U.S. dollars, followed by Myanmar and Korea. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
