Youfang Town
BEIJING, Aug.22 (Xinhua) -- The Zhenjiang Municipal Intellectual Property Office approved the program to build Youfang Town in esast China's Jiangsu into a photovoltaic intellectual property featured town on August 21. The program envisages that the new town will assume its initial shape by 2020.
At present, the framework of Program for Building a Photovoltaic Intellectual Property Featured Town has been worked out for Youfang Town, and it focuses on ten tasks including the establishment of an intellectual property management system, a mechanism for innovating and developing the patent navigation industry, and the provision of intellectual property-related financial services for enterprises.
The intellectual property featured town will develop an initial formation by 2020, with a sound intellectual property management and service system, a substantially enhanced intellectual property creation and use capacity, a cluster of advantageous intellectual property enterprise, a remarkable intellectual property comprehensive operation result and a favorable intellectual property ecological environment.
In the future, Yangzhong will focus on cultivating a PV industry agglomeration area represented by Youfang Town and the Development Zone, to serve as a base for incubating and growing the photovoltaic industry.
It will also concentrate on: strengthening the construction of major infrastructure and supporting facilities in the new energy industry agglomeration area; promoting new energy vehicles; speeding up the new energy micro-grid construction; developing river beach wind power; and exploring biomass energy in line with local conditions.
