BEIJING, Aug.11 (Xinhua) -- The Fishery and Photovoltaic Generation Integration Project in Yangzhong, Jiangsu Province, won the Excellent Distributed Energy Project Award on Thursday at the 13th China Distributed Energy International Forum (2017) in Beijing.
Located in the fishing park of Yingfang Village in the Sanmao Sub-district of Yangzhong, this project was funded and constructed by Zhenjiang Tongwei Huantai Huijin New Energy Co. Ltd.
It is estimated that the project can save 4,075 tons of standard coal, reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide by 9,950 tons, 4,792tons and 149 tons respectively each year.
The project will register an average annual output value of 11.98 million yuan from power generation and 4.5 million yuan from fishery breeding.
The project follows the guideline to integrate modern fishery and photovoltaic resources in order to utilize and develop the two industries integrally. It develops a modern fishery mode which enables the fish pond to continuously produce clean solar energy and aquatic products at the same time. Additionally, it carries out significant development in eco-leisure tourism.
The 10MW Fishery and Photovoltaic Generation Integration Project includes a fish pond that covers an area of 320 mu. The Phase I and II Projects have been connected to the grid and started generating power on 25th March and 13th June 2017 respectively.
A new 10KV dedicated line was connected to 110KV Xinba Power Substation during Phase I Project, and was followed by the installation of a T-type connection combining a 10KV dedicated line to 110KV Xinba Power Substation and 10KV Xinbei Line 162 during Phase II Project.
