BEIJING, Sept.11 (Xinhua) -- China Economic Information Service (CEIS) will publish the Annual Report on Global Green Energy Application and Development (2016-2017) at the upcoming International Green Energy Development Conference, scheduled to be held on September 15 and 16 in Yangzhong, Jiangsu Province.
The report analyzes global green energy hot issues in recent years from the aspects of policy, market, investment and technology and gains insights into new features, trends and opportunities of the global green energy development and application.
In addition to discussing representative cases in the green energy industry, the report puts forward specific measures and suggestions for accelerating green energy application in China.
The International Green Energy Development Conference, themed “Global Green Energy Application and Yangzhong’s Practices”, will invite more than 400 experts, scholars and business elites at home and abroad to discuss new paths for green energy development in China.
The conference will also showcase the latest technologies and products of new energy and present achievements of China’s high-proportion new energy demonstration cities.
As one of the high-proportion new energy demonstration cities, Yangzhong increased production and consumption of renewable energy and gained valuable experience in green energy development and application in recent years. In 2016, Yangzhong saw a year-on-year increase of 39.73% in the use of non-fossil energy and 18% in the green energy utilization rate.
