BEIJING, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Changji Power Supply Company has leveraged its strengths in real-time and accurate electricity data to build the energy big data service center, provide eco-friendly data products, and facilitate environmental protection in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The production activity and pollution intensity of polluting enterprises in Changji remained stable in September of this year, according to State Grid Changji Power Supply Company.
Besides, by monitoring the operation of 835 local polluting enterprises in real time, State Grid Changji Power Supply Company can acquire accurate information on abnormal production activities of these enterprises. It has also built a model to identify enterprises failing to meet emission standards.
For the next step, the company will further tap into the potential of electricity-related big data in environmental monitoring, and contribute to the building of a beautiful Changji with an intelligent power grid.
