BEIJING, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- The first intelligent voice recognition work order system in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has been officially launched and put into operation in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture recently, which enables electricity users in Changji to have their problems resolved in a timely manner.
Developed by Changji Power Supply Company of State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd., the intelligent voice recognition work order system adopts iFLYTEK's voice recognition and processing technology.
When users encounter electricity problems, they can call the work number of grid staff members or the power station repair hotline. In this way, the system will intelligently classify customer requests, generate work orders and dispatch them to the grid staff's mobile phones. Compared to the traditional way of problem solution, this system offers faster acceptance and better control, and ensures that no request will be overlooked.
As the first intelligent voice recognition system in Xinjiang, it features high speed, and the entire process of work order acceptance, dispatch, and handling is transparent, meeting customer demands satisfactorily, said Jiang Guobin, the service specialist at the Power Supply Service Command Center of Changji Power Supply Company.
Currently, the system has been applied in various counties in Changji. Since the system was put into trial operation on March 27, the time of work order distribution was shortened from three minutes to a few seconds, the accuracy of dispatching was improved from 97 percent to 100 percent, and the time of requests handling was shortened from five minutes to 30 seconds.
Since the trial operation, a total of 581 customer requests from Changji have been received, with the average dispatch time of about one minute. (Edited by Yang Linlin with Xinhua Silk Road, linlinyanglyn@163.com)
