BEIJING, June 24 (Xinhua) -- China will intensify efforts to develop standards for the intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) in a bid to standardize development of the ICV products, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
The MIIT has recently unveiled a circular, listing its priorities for the standardization in the automobile industry in which ICV is included.
For example, the country will promote implementation of the mandatory national standards such as vehicle information security, software upgrades, and automated driving data recording systems, for the ICVs.
Meanwhile, it will also make efforts to promote the release of standards for ICVs such as panoramic image and intelligent speed limit, and formulation of the standards such as automatic parking and terms for autonomous driving test scenarios.
