SHENYANG, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- Shenyang, capital of north China’s Liaoning Province, has become a tourist hotspot during the Spring Festival holiday, with seeing 11.12 million tourist trips. During the holiday, the State Grid Shenyang Electric Power Supply Co. provided electricity of 829 million kilowatts hours, guaranteeing locals and visitors’ power use.
The company has made power supply schedules and emergency plans and continuingly tested the temperature of power supply equipments such as lines, transformers and switches.
Based on recent electricity consumption data and dry weather conditions, it provided secure power for night lights areas, ice and snow resorts, bathhouses, and shopping malls, catering for public entertainment needs. (Edited by Wang Sheng, wangsheng@xinhua.org)
