HEFEI, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese automaker Chery Holding Group Co., Ltd. reported strong sales in the first half of 2022, the company said on Thursday.
Chery sold 105,005 vehicles in June, up 43.6 percent year on year. A total of 35,818 vehicles were exported to other countries, setting a new monthly export record.
Sales of Chery's new energy vehicles also saw 183.3 percent year-on-year growth, reaching 22,849 units.
In the first half of 2022, Chery sold a total of 475,250 vehicles, up 12 percent. In the same period, the company sold 148,000 vehicles to other countries such as Brazil and Egypt.
