JINAN, April 20 (Xinhua) -- The gross domestic product of east China's Shandong Province saw year-on-year growth of 5.2 percent in the first quarter of 2022 when calculated at comparable prices.
From January to March, Shandong's GDP totaled 1.99 trillion yuan (about 311 billion U.S. dollars).
The respective added values of Shandong's primary, secondary and tertiary industries were 73.7 billion yuan, 791 billion yuan and 1.1 trillion yuan, up 5.9 percent, 4.8 percent and 5.4 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
The province's foreign trade increased 13.7 percent year on year to 710.7 billion yuan in the first quarter.
