MILAN, Dec. 15 (Class Editori) — The China Awards aim to stress the importance of internationalization to Italian and Chinese companies — with an emphasis on the benefits deriving from the flows of capital, people, goods and services between Italy and China — and to raise the profile of successful the Italian companies that have best seized the opportunities of the Chinese market and vice versa. The event is organized by Italy China Foundation and Class Editori, in partnership with the China Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and with the patronage of the Italy China Chamber of Commerce. The event was broadcast live on Class CNBC TV and was sponsored by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Intesa Sanpaolo and Apulia Region.
Winners and categories: the sectors awarded during this edition were food & beverage, fashion, consultancy in various fields, hospitality, machinery and pharmaceutical. The winners in their respective categories are listed below:
Capital Elite Award was given to Italian and Chinese companies, entrepreneurs, professionals and institutions that have distinguished themselves in the relations between the two countries: Digital to Asia, iH Hotels Group, Francesco Wu.
Creators of Value Award was given to product companies that best performed with China active in export-intensive sectors and to service companies in support of businesses active in both countries: Chinastone Industrial Services Group, CPO & Partners, Hevō, Hu Foods Group.
Eccellenza Italia Award was given to companies considered to be Italian excellences by Chinese tourists visiting Italy and loving Made-in-Italy goods: Cantine San Marzano, Divella, Giada.
Top Investors in China Award was given to Italian companies that have made the most significant investments in China: Idrobase Group, NTET Power Ningbo, Silvateam.
Top Investors in China Award was given to Chinese companies that have made the most significant investments in Italy: Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Max Factory, Uniontrade.
Via Della Seta Award was given to Italian companies that have distinguished themselves for their long-lasting and significant growth and development in the Chinese market over the years: ESSETI Farmaceutici.
