InfoQuest (August 9, 2021) -- According to Mr. Veeris Ammarapala, Director of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), IEAT adopted the Bubble and Seal measure to curb factory pandemic on a meeting with the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Public Health and Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES).
Factories will divide employees into groups to reduce exposure, set up temporary shelter hospitals or Factory Isolation to separate high-risk personnel to limit pandemic spread and facilitate production activities.
"The Department of Disease Control (DDC) recommends that employees be grouped and isolated to prevent the pandemic outbreak and ensure normal production in factories. As the main source of national funds, the industry sector will be supported by the government with various optimal measures," said Veeris.
Factories should also introduce disease prevention and control measures, as well as social care measures to reduce transmission of pandemic and safeguard the normal life of workers.
"IEAT will determine the working guidelines and specific methods and develop an information-sharing system for relevant departments to evaluate the work results. MDES will also assist in network signals or WiFi signals," added Veeris.
