InfoQuest (July 26, 2021) -- According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Jurin Laksanawisit,Thailand saw its exports reaching 2,369.943 million U.S. dollars, up 43.82 percent from last year. The exports of agricultural products grew rapidly, reaching a new high in the past 11 years.
The exports excluding oil, gold and arms-related commodities rose by 41.56 percent year-on-year as a result of economic recovery.
The imports were 22,754.37 million U.S. dollars, up 53.75 percent from a year earlier, and the trade surplus stood at 945.06 million U.S. dollars.
From January to June, Thailand's total exports were 132,334.65 million U.S. dollars, up 15.53 percent year-on-year; total imports amounted to 12,989.55 million U.S. dollars, up 26.15 percent from the same period last year, resulting in Thailand's trade surplus of 2,439.15 million U.S. dollars in the first six months.
