BEIJING, July 25 (Xinhua) -- When workers of Linyi Power Supply Company came to local wholesale food mall iFood City recently, they checked transformers and power lines there as carefully as usual to ensure everything goes well before its pending opening in late July.
The iFood City, short for east China-located Linyi City's International Food City, was built to expedite local mall upgrading and integrates functions of exhibition, trade, sight-seeing and shopping, capable of housing 2,000-plus merchants.
Sitting in the core zone of Linyi Trade Valley, iFood City, one of the would-be largest food marketplaces by volume and product varieties in China, aims to shape itself into a one-stop food procurement center to shore up upgrading of related local upstream and downstream sectors.
Upon receiving a power use application from iFood City previously, the local grid operator under State Grid Shandong Electric Power was more than geared up for establishing a one-for-one service team, communicating face-to-face with the project manager, gauging precisely related power need and tailoring a reasonable power supply solution.

During full-process tracking of iFood City's construction work in the later days, Linyi Power Supply Company's service team offered free power-related technical guidance to fend off mistakes in construction.
Since the start of this year, members of the service team for iFood City have provided multiple pre-power supply services, including a full-scale inspection of power pipe galleries, switching stations and electrical installations of the project and proposing effective advice to eliminate potential hazards.
All of these considerate services to ensure successful power transmission won applause and praise from related personnel of the iFood City project.

For years, Linyi Power Supply Company has paid close attention to the development of local mall operators, in an attempt to facilitate the logistics hub city's effort to craft itself into a modern logistic city and speed up construction of digital, internationalized, green and full industrial chain-serving malls.
Adhering to its service philosophy of being a "pacesetter" in power supply, the local grid operator has always guaranteed convenient power access, smooth power supply and lessening power outage for local trade and logistics businesses.
By building a multiple-in-one "power supply+energy efficiency service" project in Linyi small commodities city, it piloted integration of multiple types of energy supplies and services for highly-efficient energy use and low carbon emissions, which, as typical service experience, has been promoted for application nationwide.
