BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has recently unveiled a plan for commerce development in the 14th Five Year Plan period from 2021 to 2025, according to the ministry on Friday.
According to the plan, China will make efforts to bring its opening-up to the outside world to a new level in the commerce field during the period.
Meanwhile, the country will also strive to accelerate digital development and promote green development during the period, to further contribute to the new development paradigm of "dual circulation" which allows domestic and overseas markets to reinforce each other, with the domestic market as the mainstay.
During the period, efforts will also be made to promote high-quality development of the free trade zones and ports, deepen economic and trade cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and improve the risk control system in the commerce field, according to the plan.
