Factbox: Latest on COVID-19 control and prevention in China

BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Here are the latest developments from China's COVID-19 control and prevention efforts:

-- Beijing reported four new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and one asymptomatic infection on Tuesday, the municipal health commission said Wednesday.

All of the confirmed cases were reported in a residential community in Daxing District, where a number of cases had emerged lately. No new imported cases were reported.

-- North China's Hebei Province reported seven new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, the provincial health commission said on Wednesday.

Of the cases, five were reported in the provincial capital Shijiazhuang, one in the city of Xingtai and the other in Dingzhou.

A total of 715 COVID-19 patients were receiving treatment in Hebei, and 75 locally transmitted asymptomatic cases are under medical observation.

-- China's Heilongjiang Province reported 29 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 28 asymptomatic infections on Tuesday, the provincial health commission said Wednesday.  Enditem
