CHENGDU, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- More than 3,000 cultural and creative products integrating traditional Chinese culture and modern technologies have been displayed for sale at a promotion event that opened in Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Monday.
Apart from getting an opportunity to see and buy various cultural products and tourist commodities, visitors can experience virtual reality (VR) travel, online museums and smart libraries at the event, which will last until Wednesday.
In an exhibition hall, digital platforms and creative products developed by the Palace Museum and Dunhuang Academy China employ technologies like VR and augmented reality to vividly showcase China's cultural relics.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Sichuan provincial culture and tourism department, the event also includes a forum, online and offline promotions and roadshows. Enditem
