ISLAMABAD, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's Information Minister Shibli Faraz said on Thursday that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a symbol of friendship between Pakistan and China, that would further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
The minister told members of the National Assembly, or the lower house of the country's parliament that all the projects under CPEC are being implemented in a timely manner as the government is cognizant of the importance of CPEC in the country's development and prosperity.
"All the projects of CPEC are successfully advancing towards completion," the minister said, adding that the government created such a mechanism through which all the CPEC projects could be completed in a coherent manner. Enditem
