SHANGHAI, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- China Economic Information Service (CEIS), a subsidiary of Xinhua News Agency, released the upgraded version of China Natural Gas Industry Information Terminal (E-Gas terminal) on Thursday.
The terminal, relying on CEIS’s advantage in information collection and industry research, is committed to better supporting the development of the natural gas industry in China.
E-Gas terminal, as an information service product focusing on energy sector, is jointly developed by the CEIS and the Shanghai Petroleum and Natural Gas Exchange (SHPGX). It mainly focuses on natural gas as well as gas-related energy products, and its targeted customers include companies alongside the natural gas industrial chain, financial institutions, and industry research institutes.
The new E-Gas terminal will endeavor to build up the following five key sections: latest news, research reports, industry data, business support and interactive research platform, said Chen Xiaobin, assistant president of the CEIS, adding that the new terminal also added several featured functions such as domestic gas infrastructure map, international LNG flows map, and real-time LNG trading map.
China has been gradually opening up its natural gas market in recent years, and its natural gas consumption is also growing steadily. For those overseas players who are interested in China’s natural gas market, the English version of the E-Gas terminal is also under preparation and will be put into operation soon.
