BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Hainan Free Trade Port hailed contract signing of its third batch of 46 key projects at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center on Tuesday, according to the Haikou Jiangdong New Area administration.
The projects include 9 foreign-funded projects and 37 domestically funded projects, covering free trade port construction, industry development, people's livelihood and public services and other fields, with a total investment of over 17 billion yuan.
Seven of the projects were settled in Haikou, capital of Hainan Province.
CCB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. and BOCOM International Holdings Company Limited will carry out comprehensive cooperation with Haikou's Jiangdong New Area, one important industrial park in the Hainan FTP.

On Tuesday, another contracts signing ceremony for key projects to settle in Haikou's Jiangdong New Area was held at YATTER International Convention Center. Thirteen enterprises, including Hunan Friendship & Apollo Holding Co., Ltd., Hainan Jinhai Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd., State Power Investment Corporation and Liaoning xinfu insurance brokers Co., Ltd., successfully signed contracts and settled down in Jiangdong New Area.
Feng Benyan, executive deputy director of Haikou Jiangdong New Area administration, Cai Qiao, director of Haikou municipal bureau of commerce, Chen Liangzi, director of Haikou international investment promotion bureau, Zhang Xiang, deputy director of Haikou Jiangdong New Area administration, as well as representatives of related enterprises attended the activity.
