BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Hongqi-brand of China's automaker FAW Group saw its average daily orders surpass 1,500 units during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday that ran from October 1 to October 8. Terminal orders for Hongqi are expected to exceed 25,000 units in October, according to Wang Guoqiang, deputy general manager of FAW, on Monday.
In September, the monthly sales of Hongqi reached 21,500 units, hitting a record high. From January to September, the sales volume of Hongqi exceeded 130,000 units in total, surging 104 percent year on year.
