BEIJING, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese leading tire manufacturing enterprise Shandong Linglong Tire (601966.SH) has extended its existing sponsorship agreement with VfL Wolfsburg for another two years to continue its support for the club while further boosting its global brand influence.
The visible symbol of this partnership has been on the left sleeve of the Wolves' jerseys in every Bundesliga and DFB Cup game for the last year, and this will remain so until 2022, the company said in a news release on its official website Tuesday.
The agreement also includes the use of LED boards, Cam Carpets, matchday hospitality and digital services, it said.
Linglong is the exclusive tire partner of the club and is featured as a global sponsor on the highest partner level at the Wolves' home games, according to the company.
Since joining hands with VfL Wolfsburg in December of 2014, Linglong has accompanied the club winning the second place in the Bundesliga, crowning the German Cup and making to final eight of the UEFA Champions League, and has gained greater brand influence internationally during such journey.
