BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- East China's Jiangxi province has seen foreign trade total 271.12 billion yuan in the first eight months this year, topping the country with a 23.9 percent year-on-year growth.
Exports amounted to 199.01 billion yuan in January to August, up 26.5 percent on year. Imports amounted to 72.11 billion yuan during the period, up 17.4 percent on year, data from the Customs showed.
Specifically, the province's imports from and exports to its top ten trading partners including the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the United States, the Europe Union (EU), the Republic of Korea (ROK),China's Hong Kong, Japan, China's Taiwan, Australia, Chile and the UK all registered positive growths during the period, with combined imports and exports totaling 205.36 billion yuan, up 27 percent on year.
Jiangxi's trade with Belt and Road countries amounted to 81.01 billion yuan, an increase of 25.1 percent on year.
