NE. China's Liaoning province see online contracting of 7 sport-related projects worth RMB330 mln

Abstract : An online investment promotion conference of sports industry was recently held in northeast China's Liaoning province, with a total of 7 major projects signed during the event.

BEIJING, June 9 (Xinhua) -- An online investment promotion conference of sports industry was recently held in northeast China's Liaoning province, with a total of 7 major projects signed during the event.

The contracted projects, involving a total investment of 330 million yuan, cover ice-sports center construction, night economy management for stadiums and other areas.

As a province with unique natural advantages, Liaoning has complete categories in sports industry with outstanding characteristics. It has both winter and summer sports and enjoys strong sports atmosphere, which creates huge consumer market and consumption potential there.

In recent years, Liaoning has carried out a series of policies to promote the development of sports industry and formulated development plans for football, basketball, volleyball, winter sports, aviation sports and many other sports, said Song Kai, director of Liaoning Provincial Bureau of Sports during the event.

Liaoning's sports industry has played an increasingly important role in regional revitalization and development. The cooperation between Liaoning Sports Bureau and China Sports Industry Group will promote the higher-quality development of the Liaoning sports industry. In the future, the two sides will further cooperate in sports, sports events, sports goods and other aspects, according to Wang Weidong, chairman of China Sports Industry Group.
