BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhua) -- China Tianying Inc. (000035.SZ) announced on Wednesday that its wholly-owned subsidiaries won the bidding for a waste incineration power generation project in France.
Urbaser Environnement, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company in France, has received a bid notification from Valor Béarn, a joint unit for the household waste disposal in France, confirming that Urbaser Environnement and Urbaser S.A.U., another wholly-owned subsidiary in Spain, as a consortium, won the bidding for the Valor Béarn waste incineration power generation project in Pau, France. The bid price was about 225.5 million euros (excluding tax), and the contract period was 20 years.
The bid winners will provide design, construction and financing for the transformation of the municipal waste incineration system in Pau, and maintain, operate and transform it into a waste incineration power plant.
