BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhua) -- North China's Hebei province signed 24 key cooperation projects with investors through online videos at the 2020 China Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair (Online) held on Monday.
Of the 24 projects, 11 are foreign-invested with total fund of 770 million U.S. dollars. The remaining 13 projects are invested by domestic investors, involving agreed capital of 20.07 billion yuan (about 2.82 billion U.S. dollars).
At the signing ceremony, the government of Hebei and the Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. inked an industry strategic cooperation agreement, under which the two sides will jointly build an industrial innovation center, an industry alliance and a certification center in Hebei so as to accelerate the development of digital economy of the province.
The signing and implementation of the projects will help Hebei shift development mode, optimize economic structure and transform growth drivers.
The 2020 China Langfang International Economic and Trade Fair (Online), organized by China's Ministry of Commerce and the government of Hebei, attracted the online participation of more than 350 well-known business associations and business executives from 33 countries and regions such as the U.S., Canada, Germany, U.K., Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
