BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhua) -- The signing ceremony of 16 cooperation projects on supporting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta was held in Wenzhou South Zhejiang Industrial Cluster on Sunday.
The 16 projects, involving high-end equipment manufacturing industry, intelligent manufacturing industry, life and health industry, modern logistics industry and modern service industry, cover a total land area of 1,700 mu and have a total investment of 11.9 billion yuan.
Among them, two projects are foreign-invested ones, and five projects have an investment of more than 500 million yuan each. The manufacturing projects account for more than 88 percent, and projects conducted by national high-tech enterprises account for more than 50 percent.
Wenzhou South Zhejiang Industrial Cluster, located in east China's Zhejiang Province, was established in May 2015. Taking transportation equipment manufacturing as the leading industry, the cluster focuses on the development of machinery equipment manufacturing, new polymer materials, modern commerce, modern logistics, scientific and technological services, and information services.
