CNTC wins bid of riverside green development project phase II in Ethiopia

Abstract : CNTC, a leading enterprise in China's construction industry, has won the bid of the second phase of China-backed riverside green development project in Ethiopia with a bid amount of 378 million yuan.

BEIJING, April 29 (Xinhua) -- CNTC, a leading enterprise in China's construction industry, has won the bid of the second phase of China-backed riverside green development project in Ethiopia with a bid amount of 378 million yuan.

The project's second phase in constructing the central square is scheduled to start in May 2020 with a duration of 14 months.

The riverside green development project is located in the central square of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. The second phase of the project covers an area of approximately 17.85 hectares, with the construction area of 13,053 square meters, mainly including a science and technology museum, a dome theater, a children's playground and supporting buildings, square paving, landscape roads and green irrigation.

Ethiopia launched a China-backed riverside green development project that aims to create a beautiful and healthy environment in Addis Ababa last year.
